Royalton Leisure, Bangalore is a wedding venue located at Bannerghatta main road. This venue has hosted some amazing wedding events for Meragi's clients and in this blog, we'll take you through one such celebration in detail.

Meet Christo and Lisha, a fun loving couple who made sure that their wedding events exuded playfulness!

Pooja Jain was the designer from Meragi who had transformed their vision into reality.

What was the couple looking for?

  • 1 venue for multiple events: Haldi/Mehendi, Wedding, Reception/Sangeet

  • Both indoor and outdoor spaces

  • Decor that was personalised and fun with some traditional elements

Royalton Leisure fit their asks perfectly. Want to know more about just the venue?

Let's dive into how Pooja from Meragi helped Lisha and Christo reimagine Royalton Leisure's spaces for 3 different events.

  1. Haldi/Mehendi

The Execution

Entrance and Welcome Decor

haldi and mehendi entrance and welcome decor

The haldi and mehendi event was far removed from your traditional yellow-only decor. The couple wanted a Moroccan theme and we made sure it was evident right from the entrance with the striking colour scheme. Spot the lemons, moroccan printed welcome board and vases that added freshness and vibrancy.

Backdrop and Seating

Continuing the Moroccan theme, the Haldi backdrop and seating arrangement had the typical Moroccan prints in the chosen colour palette. A bold blue added wonderful contrast to the traditional yellow. Origami triangles with evil eyes hung from the ceiling: a little bit of whimsy while keeping unwanted gaze away. Keeping personalisation in mind, we also added the couples' initials on the backdrop.

The Fun Factor

True to the couple, the event was colourful and just lots of fun. From the colour poppers to the water balloons, guest bingo, and other games, we made sure the guests along with the couple had a memorable and exciting day.

The Execution:

Welcome Decor and Entry

The entrance arch featured vibrant garlands that created a serene yet festive atmosphere. The beautifully curated Ganesha idol and surrounding flower-filled urlis embodied a harmonious blend of tradition and elegance, reflecting the couple’s love and joy as they embarked on a new journey together. Lisha entered with a 'phoolon ki chaadar' above her head that was yet another nod to an age-old tradition with the modernity of pastel coloured flowers.

Mandap, Seating, and Walkway Decor

The vibrant red and white palette exuded auspiciousness, while touches of pink, gold, and green added a sophisticated elegance. Brass lamps adorned the walkway, leading to a stunning backdrop featuring a vintage door and printed sunboards that framed the mandap for the wedding rituals. The ceiling of the mandap was adorned with a display of various flowers and intricately crafted parrots made from coconut leaves, while fresh coconut leaves were tied to the wooden pillars, enhancing the organic beauty of the setting.

The Execution:

Entrance, Photo Booth, and Walkway Decor

reception and sangeet entrance, photo booth, and walkway decor

The idea with the reception and sangeet night was to create the feel of an enchanted garden. The entrance had an outburst of colourful flowers and foliage. To make it cost-effective and long lasting, we used artificial flowers here. A photo opportunity was also created for guests in the form of a polaroid cutout frame with the wedding hashtag. And the walkway leading to the gazebo that housed the stage was lined by flickering candles and lanterns, making it magical.

The Stage and Backdrop

The couple had asked for personalization in their decor from the get go so in the last event of the series, we made sure to hit it home. We showcased images of the couple on the stage backdrop and added their names in neon light. With flowers, leaves, glowing chandeliers, and crystal birds hanging from the ceiling, the entire stage was made to look enchanting.
