Accommodation for all their guests in one place
Amita Rasa was the perfect wedding venue for them. However, they had way more guests than Amita Rasa's villas- Bhoomi and Akasha could accommodate.
So we helped them find Mulberry Shades- a luxurious resort which is also at the Nandi foothills and only 11 minutes from Amita Rasa.
Here are all the wedding events, where they were celebrated, and how:
Varapooja at Mulberry Shades, a hotel near Amita Rasa
Varapooja is an important pre-wedding ritual that is performed in honour of the couple. The groom's family is formally welcomed by the bride's family with many gifts, including food and clothes.
The men dressed up in the traditional white and gold while the women wore shades of red, purple, and pink. The to-be bride donned a stunning gold saree.
We'd chosen similar shades for the puja backdrop and kept it traditional for this event.
Mehendi at Mulberry Shades near Nandi Hills
Saniya celebrated her mehendi function in fun Gujju style.
It had garba dances, bangle, coconut water, and jhoomka carts, a portrait artist, and a team of mehendi artists.
Keeping in mind the theme and the vibe, Meragi kept the mehendi decor fun and whimsical with a burst of colour.
The entrance had Ganesh ji with floral decor for divine blessings and auspiciousness.
Haldi at Mulberry Shades, Bengaluru
Haldi was a mix of yellow, white, and green with a backdrop of banana leaves where the rituals took place.
Cane chairs and white and yellow sofas were arranged on the lawn.
As haldi favours, colourful dupattas were kept on a bright yellow cart for guests.
Sangeet at Amita Rasa
Sangeet was Deep and Saniya's 'Glitz & Glam' night. And that's exactly how we'd transformed Amita Rasa for the evening party.
The couple's grand entry down the marble staircases was striking with fireworks on both sides.
The welcome board took people back in time as it had the couple's pictures right from when they were in school.
Glowing golden arches and spirals dotted the walkway for guests and provided a glam photo opportunity for the night.
As the evening progressed, the sangeet stage was on fire with unparalleled performances from the couple and their guests.
South Indian Wedding at Amita Rasa
Saniya and Deep's wedding was celebrated at Amita Rasa, where most of the rituals happened at the Mantapa structure in the heart of the venue.
The wedding took place on a beautiful Bengaluru day with a clear view of the Nandi hills. The welcome decor was elegant and traditional, with their hashtag #schoolmatestosoulmates.
The decor included a lot of gold, red, and cream with brass Nandi figurines, lamps, urlis, and vases.
Deep entered with a vibrant baaraat that danced their hearts out to the tunes of a moving DJ.
Saniya entered with her family holding the phoolon ki chaadar, against the gorgeous Nandi hills backdrop.
After varmala, when the couple was going towards the mandap, Ganga Aarti was happening on the stairs surrounding the mantapa. This elevated the environment of the wedding even more.
Comfortable seating arrangement was made for all guests on the pavilion with cushions and gaddas.
Once the wedding rituals were done, the evening was wrapped up with a traditional yele oota-style dinner.
After 13 beautiful years together, their love blossomed into a stunning celebration against the breathtaking backdrop of the Nandi hills, uniting two cultures in a journey of forever.
