The name of the venue isn't random at all. It comes from the 400-year old tamarind tree that overlooks this natural pond. It is surrounded by old temple steps as a watchful Basava looks over it.

The soul of The Tamarind Tree, events by the pond pavilion will freeze your memories in time-ones you'll want to revisit over and over again.

  1. The Colonial Bandstand

Nestled among lush green spaces is the colonial bandstand which has a sprawling lawn with cobblestone walkways. Frangipani blooms surround the bandstand, adding to the existing beauty.

It is usually used as the central wedding arena owing to the existing mandap/mantapa structure. The filigreed design emanates stories of an India gone by.

Overlooking the pond pavilion, this rustic-looking stone mantapa adds to the charm of The Tamarind Tree. And just like most spaces here, this too is nestled amidst trees.
